About the book
An unusual encounter between the most feared cavaleiro of the Távola Redonda of King Arthur and the most dangerous cangaceiro of Brazil. It is with this plot that the renowned author-illustrator Fernando Vilela constructed a fantastic duel between cultures and traditions that dialogues in a poetic way, both through text and images.
The story begins when Lancelot is deceived by the great feiticeira Morgana and stops in the middle of the northeastern mountains. The moment he faces the Lampiao and the beginning of the confrontation. First with words, then with fights, then with dances (and with the participation of Maria Bonita, the rain Guinevere and the magician Merlin).
Mixing and contrasting languages and universes, Vilela uses the rhyme of cordel in the words and descriptions of two characters and a medieval epic narrative for Lancelot's journey. In illustrations, references such as woodcuts and photographic records for the cangaço and Renaissance paintings and period armor for the Távola Redonda. All are highlighted with magnificent and impressive work of cor - or copper evoking figurine and decorations of the cangaceiro and the prata alluding to the years of the cavaleiro.

About Fine Art Printing
These are those created with techniques and materials that use the most rigorous criteria today to achieve an impression with museum longevity.
The papers are 100% cotton. The inks, which are made of mineral pigments, are not soluble in water, therefore they do not fade. And the color fidelity, by using RGB, is much greater than common printing.
A work printed in fine art, therefore, deserves to be signed and numbered, and can last a lifetime.
