About the book
At the end of the 18th century, the history of Simbá was added to the Book of a Thousand and One Nights. Since then, it has become one of the most beautiful and interesting Arab narratives. In seven nights, Simbá tells his friends about his adventures as a navigator and persistent marketer. On seven journeys the journey round and accossa o maujo, which comes with a gigantic ogre, fabulous beings and animals, storms and tuffs. But Simbá, a solitary castaway, survives all the adversities and still manages to recover and sell his stores. Back to Baghdad, for sure, he always leaves for a new adventure, in search of the unknown. In the poem “Metáforas d’as mil e uma noites”, Jorge Luis Borges mentions “as voygens de Simbá, esse Odisseu impelido porla seat of adventure, not punished by a god.” Now the stories of the famous marujo are back in this book. Fernando Vilela's beautiful illustrations make these journeys a sophisticated visual festival. Each design translates to magic and amazement of Simbá's adventures. The text, rewritten with talent by Stela Barbieri, can be read in silence, but it is also an invitation to read it aloud, as if it were Simbá to the friends who gather to hear it. Together, text and illustrations lead readers to a surprising classic of Eastern literature.

About Fine Art Printing
These are those created with techniques and materials that use the most rigorous criteria today to achieve an impression with museum longevity.
The papers are 100% cotton. The inks, which are made of mineral pigments, are not soluble in water, therefore they do not fade. And the color fidelity, by using RGB, is much greater than common printing.
A work printed in fine art, therefore, deserves to be signed and numbered, and can last a lifetime.
